Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC)
8-week certified Mindfulness program
Train your mind!
We live in a fast, modern world where we often seek ways to cope with anxiety, stress, and pain. We also look for ways to enhance our inner satisfaction and better deal with life’s challenges. Mindfulness practice, proven as a beneficial and scientifically grounded skill for mental health, can help us in this endeavor.
Mindfulness is a life skill that can deepen our sense of well-being and fulfillment. Through mindfulness, we engage all our senses, become aware of our bodies, thoughts, feelings, and the environment around us. Mindfulness is a training for our minds. We use it to improve mental abilities, focus, and emotional stability.
The training is intended for individuals with no previous experience as well as for those who practice mindfulness. It is comprehensive and introduces us to the world of practicing mindfulness meditation in a structured manner. Mindfulness is a secular practice and does not contain any religious beliefs or affiliations.
Benefits of mindfulness training:
- Meditation slows down brain wave activity,
- Reduces mental activity,
- Transitions us from a state of stress to a state of relaxation,
- Increases creativity,
- Relaxes the body while keeping the mind alert and focused,
- Facilitates easier habit changes,
- Aids us in slowing down.
- We better cope with stressful situations,
- Prevents burnout syndrome,
- Reduces the physical response to stress,
- Helps us become more optimistic,
- Improves immunity,
- Reduces feelings of loneliness,
- Achieves better cognitive abilities.
- We accept ourselves as we are in the present moment,
- Make decisions more easily,
- Communicate better with ourselves and the environment,
- Connect the mind and body,
- Develop understanding for others,
- Become gentler and more supportive towards ourselves.
Through mindfulness training, we learn to direct our attention to the breath, sensations in the body, and sounds at the moment we notice that we have strayed and entered the world of thoughts. Training is necessary for us to dedicate ourselves and get to know ourselves. It is a time when we rest our minds, quiet our thoughts, observe, and accept.
